FREE DELIVERY ON EVERYTHING
The following terms and conditions apply to all Redhill Appliances transactions processed, whether on-line, by telephone or in our showroom. Please read the terms and conditions carefully and print a copy for reference.
We may change these terms from time to time so please check them before making a new purchase.
PAYMENT
All prices shown are in £ sterling and include vat and we reserve the right to change any advertised price at any time. You can pay for your order by Mastercard, Visa, Delta/Connect or Switch either on-line via our secure encrypted on-line order facility or you can telephone your order through to our sales team on 01737 784800.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
Orders placed with Redhill Appliances will only be considered valid when our sales representatives have confirmed the product details of your order in writing. Wherever possible, should the chosen item prove to be unavailable with the manufacturer and therefore delivery would be outside our normal 7 - 10 working days, we will contact the customer with an anticipated delivery date. A binding agreement arises once we accept your order and we will then charge your credit/debit card on acceptance of your order. We will then email confirmation of the order to your email address.
If an order is received for a discontinued model we will automatically provide the up to date equivalent model providing it is readily available and it is the same price as the old model. If this is not the case we will telephone to discuss the options that are available.
GUARANTEES
Please note that when a Manufacturer offers a free extended guarantee this is by redemtion and the customer is required to claim this extra warranty from the manufacturer within 30 days of purchase. Most extended warranty promotion claim forms can be downloaded from the manufacturers own web site. If you have problems downloading and printing the claim form then please telephone our sales team and we will be happy to print it and post it to you.
All goods advertised on the Redhill Appliances web site are grade A boxed and new and come with a full manufacturer's warranty for a minimum of 1 year. In some cases the manufacturer my offer a free extended warranty for 2, 5 and even 10 years. All servicing and repairs are provided by the manufacturers who all operate a nationwide service network. In the rare case that a new appliance is considered to have a manufacturing fault, Redhill Appliances will exchange the appliance as soon as possible but in all cases an appliance will not be deemed to be faulty until the manufacturer or their service agent has inspected the appliance. Should the appliance prove not to be faulty or should the fault prove to be due to poor or incorrect installation then the manufacturer or their agent may wish to levy a callout charge to the customer for their time. Please take time to read and observe the instruction manuals and literiture provided with the appliances and carefully follow the necessary instructions for installation and use.
EXTENDED WARRANTY
Our Home Appliance Extended Warranty Repair Protection Plan is provided by Domestic and General. Please note that Domestic and General process Warranties once a month. If you have purchased an Extended Warranty from us please allow 4 to 6 weeks for your policy documentation to arrive.
DELIVERY INFORMATION
All delivery times quoted are an estimate and are subject to change. Redhill Appliances can only take responsibility for delivery of appliances once they have been received into our warehouse. We strongly advise that customers do not book fitters until they have received their goods and checked them for damage. Delivery is based on a one-man delivery to your door only and we only deliver to ground floor locations within England and Wales excluding the following postcode areas - TR, SA, SY, LD, LL, CA, LA, YO, HG, DH, DL, TS, SR, NE, HR, PL and NR.. Our delivery drivers will not be able to carry appliances upstairs. If the appliance needs to be carried upstairs then please make provisions for this to be done prior to recieving delivery. An additional delivery fee will be charged if the goods need to be redelivered as a result of aborted deliveries due to customer absence. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the goods ordered will pass through any doorways in their packaging. Any damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery and a replacement would normally take as long to deliver as a new order.
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receipt of your goods, without giving a reason. The customer has the right to either return the goods themselves to our warehouse in Redhill, Surrey at no cost to the customer or request us to collect the goods. If a customer requests us to collect goods that are not faulty or damaged we reserve the right to levy a charge of £40 for the cost of returning the goods to our warehouse. Although our deliveries are free the true cost of collecting the goods is much more, and a levy of £40, or £80 for products larger than 70cm in width or 90 cm in height will be deducted from the refund. All products must be returned with their original packing and intact. The refund will be made within 30 days of the cancellation date. The 7 day cancellation period for each appliance begins the day after the day of delivery of that appliance. All cancellations must be received in writing either by e-mail, fax or letter to our Head Office.
PRIVACY POLICY
For security when you place an order on-line with Redhill Appliances, your credit card details will always be transmitted in encrypted form. We will take all reasonable care to keep your payment and personal details secure but, unless we are negligent, we will not be liable for any losses if an unauthorised third party obtains access to your information.
GENERAL LIMITATIONS AND LIABILITY
The information and materials contained in this web site, including without limitation, graphics, text and links, are provided to the best of our knowledge and ability and we cannot accept liability as to the completeness or accuracy of the contents, products or services portreyed within. Redhill Appliances only sell products suitable for use in the UK and we do not provide any testing of products for safety, quality, compliance, reliability or function. No assurance is given that this website is free of errors or viruses and use of this website is at your own risk.
